Head Boy's Welcome
As West Hill approaches its 100th anniversary, it is a privilege to be a part of a school with such a remarkable history. For nearly a century, West Hill has been a place where boys grow into confident, capable young men.
At West Hill, we are guided by our core values: ready, respectful and responsible. These values lie at the heart of everything we do. We are taught to be ready for learning, respectful to one another and our community, and responsible for our actions and choices. These qualities define what it is truly like to be a West Hill boy.
The motto “Aim High” is more than just words – it is a mindset. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or through our wide range of co-curricular opportunities, every boy is encouraged to do his best and pursue excellence. Our dedicated teachers and staff inspire us to work hard, and to take pride in our achievements.
As we near this milestone in West Hill’s history, we celebrate not only the school's past successes but also the bright future that lies ahead. The experiences we gain here – the friendships, the lessons, the values – stay with us for life.
West Hill has stood for nearly 100 years as a place of learning, character, and ambition. It continues to prepare boys to step forward into the world with confidence, integrity, and the drive to succeed. I am honoured to be part of this legacy, and proud to call myself a West Hill boy.
