Years 7-10 took part in the further education 'EXPLORE' event at school on Wednesday 18th March 2026.

Linking curriculum learning to further education and careers, local colleges Clarendon Sixth Form, Tameside College, and the Greater Manchester Institute of Technology, brought along fun, engaging and immersive stalls to provide our students with a display of the range of education and training opportunities on offer to them in the future.

From Construction to Media, STEM to Outdoor Careers, and Apprenticeships to A- Levels, there was something for all learners to help them to feel more informed and empowered about the choices available to them.

A huge thank you went to Tameside College, Clarendon Sixth Form and the Greater Manchester Institute of Technology for joining us on site for the day and for enlightening our students about life after West Hill School.
