On Wednesday 11th March, some of our year 10 boys attended a trip to Heysham nuclear power station.

Whilst there, the boys toured the facility and saw how electricity is generated using nuclear fuel, as well as finding out some of the great career and apprenticeship options available within the nuclear industry.

Students really enjoyed the day, and staff at the power station were amazed by their impeccable behaviour and commented that they were a credit to the school.
