On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings this week, it is our school Carol Service at St. Paul's Church, 7.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there

More rewards and competition news! Our Christmas card competition has now drawn to a close and the lucky (talented!) winners have, today, been presented with their prize. Amazon vouchers, high praise, and the pride of knowing that their designs will be used as our official West Hill School cards were up for grabs when they submitted their entry so today our boys were beaming as they were congratulated for their time and efforts ... and graciously they accepted this too. A huge well done to you all! (and also to James who is busy representing school at one of our local Carol Concerts today , so we'll catch up with him on Monday ) Ready, Respectful, Responsible

WOW!! We've had some amazing outgrown quality coats donated to our Winter Coat appeal this week. Thank you so much! Every donation is a true gift and is greatly appreciated We were blown away today, though, by the sheer generosity of one of our families who donated five brand new coats to our cause The difference that they, and every donated coat, will make to some of our boys and their families is immense. The coat collection and re-homing continues...

To coincide with the launch of our Foodbank Appeal , this week's assemblies in school have been about spreading the awareness of their use, and the huge impact that each of us donating just one item can make to a local family who will depend upon our kindness . Led by our Office for Community and Charity, the message was clear - "A simple act of kindness creates an endless ripple" . Excellent, thought-provoking work, boys, that has been heard by every student in school The video below was used to sustain the momentum of the ripple: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMnEP2DYfmI *(Spoiler alert - you may shed a tear )

Sustainability on Track! As part of the Tameside Tracks project, our talented Design & Technology students have created bug houses shaped like mini trains a brilliant blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and care for the environment. These little habitats will help support biodiversity and encourage wildlife to thrive around the station. An amazing outcome from an amazing team! Next time you're at the local station, take a look you might just spot one of our eco-friendly train-inspired bug houses!

Tameside Tracks The amazing West Hill School team took part in a community morning at the train station today helping to brighten the space, spread joy for mental health awareness, and support environmental sustainability around the station. Their hard work and positivity transformed the station atmosphere and brought smiles to commuters on their way to work. We couldn't be more proud of the impact they've made!
