Tameside Tracks – Design Meets Community! Our Design & Technology students are getting hands-on with a real-world challenge improving Stalybridge Train Station! Working alongside @pieuksocial and @tpexpresstrains, our young designers are exploring creative ways to make the station more accessible, sustainable, and welcoming for everyone who passes through. From reimagining green spaces with local plant life to promoting nearby hotels and attractions, the team is using innovation and design thinking to celebrate what makes Stalybridge unique and to make it even better for our community. Reuse. Recycle. Remember. This week, our Design & Technology Club has been busy creating poppy displays for Remembrance Day made entirely from reused and recycled items. By giving new life to old materials, we're combining creativity, sustainability, and remembrance to decorate our school with meaningful designs. Each poppy is a small reminder that thoughtful design can make a big difference.

Headteacher's Recognition Reward - Congratulations to our highest achievers from last week! Once again, languages received a shout out today for being the most enjoyed lesson... we need to know their secret! Three of today's boys are members of the Student Leadership Team, but one is not on the photo as he's taking part in a reward day for being a part of the School Council. Double the treats for our Year 11 student as we'll catch up with him after half-term. Great efforts, lads. Keep up those fabulous totals!
