On Friday, some Year 9 students took part in a BT Virtual Work Experience opportunity 💻

The session was really engaging, informative and students really enjoyed learning what "A day in the life" would be like if they worked for a company like BT. A lot of students left feeling inspired and said that they would be interested in some of the careers shown. Mrs Worthington was really impressed with the effort and behaviour of all students during this event 👍

The boys were set a 'Design a poster' competition too. The challenge was to "create a poster with a product idea that could be used to stop procrastination in students when revising" - some ideas mentioned were wearable tech devices that vibrate when caught scrolling or website blockers. All entries submitted to BT.

Special mention to Albie for making us all laugh with his "I'll tell you later" answer to what procrastination was – we even caught it on camera him getting a special shout out from BT! 👏
