From being dropped off at Heathrow Airport by Ms Cronin in the West Hill School minibus during the early hours of Wednesday morning to safely arriving in Costa Rica (Yes, really!) Six of our students, alongside Ms Mason, have joined forces with students and staff from Official Knutsford Academy and Long Stratton High School to embark on a life-changing trip with Camps International @campsint. Working alongside conservationists they are there to help protect the natural environment and discover an array of colourful marine life whilst also learning to scuba dive https://www.campsinternational.com/expedition/costa-rica-scuba-expedition/ All had a good sleep, freshen up and a delicious breakfast before heading off to their first camp. Amazing!

As an alternative to the cinema, a handful of our year 10 boys had a fun filled day out in our local park, playing football , basketball and most importantly cooling down in the fountains . Mrs Mason, Mrs Ridgway and Ms Sykes brought a picnic and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with such a great bunch of boys

Fifteen Year 7 students are currently representing West Hill School in a high-stakes schools' football tournament; taking place over four days in Shrewsbury. Our boys made a great start yesterday, winning all four of their matches - scoring 29 goals and conceding only 1 Staying true to form, they remained competitive even during matches! Fabulous work, boys! You're doing West Hill and yourselves proud

Whatever the weather, ice-cream's better together! Congratulations to our mildly rain-soaked boys who braved the queue ("it's bigger than Alton Towers, Ma'am!") for their trip to the reward ice cream van ahead of break time today From individual achievements of excellent conduct, to inspiring attitudes towards sports, to taking part in curriculum-based activities, to gaining the highest number of achievement points out of the whole school within a given week! The reasons were many and so were the number of boys enjoying a free 'well done' ice cream. Keep getting involved, displaying the 3Rs, and Aiming High, boys
