On Monday 6th July 2026, a small group of Year 9s, together with Dr Sarfraz, took a trip to Oldham to experience a 'Great Horizons' event with the amazing Professor Brian Cox!

Discussing all things astrophysics and STEM – including black holes and the expansion of the universe – our boys gained knowledge from the world-renowned local lad. A real treat was in store when they were given the opportunity to put a question to him too, which they did in an impressively scientific, and West Hill, way.

Representing us to the highest of standards, our boys were offered the chance to see something a little different, and took it.
