Our aim is to develop confident and ambitious young men equipped with the skills and qualifications to thrive in a changing world. The Student Leadership Award (SLA) is a programme which develops a set of skills so that every student who joins our school community will have the confidence, experience and wisdom to become inspirational leaders.

At West Hill School, we have the highest expectations, where every boy, no matter his starting point, is expected to follow the school motto and Aim High. Therefore, in each academic year, every student will have the opportunity to aim for and achieve the level of the Student Leadership Award for their current year group.

Each level is aimed at a year group and has a specific set of targets that must be achieved. The tables below break down the skills and events students will need to qualify for each level of the Student Leadership Award.
