A Specialist Science College
Our school enjoys a long
standing reputation - one that is a blend of tradition and successful
innovation. Everything about West Hill is stated in our School
Motto - "Aim High" - and every single pupil is included in that simple
phrase.

and aspirations. Numerous enrichment opportunities are provided through
the Specialist Science College and we regard involvement in sports, at
whatever standard, as an important part of a pupil's educational
experience, helping develop teaming skills and a sense of fair play.'

West Hill has a long standing reputation
within the community. Our community links continue to develop and
strengthen as a result of the work of the Specialist Science College and
the extensive community use of the Sports Hall. We work closely with
parents via parents' consultation evenings, induction evenings and the
Parents' Association.
Aims of
the School
'The primary aim of the governors and the staff, is to provide a happy and
disciplined working environment within which every pupil is encouraged
to achieve his full academic, social, moral, spiritual and physical
potential.
