Parents
During the course of the school year, every boy will bring home three reports. In the first two terms, these reports will take the form of progress assessments. The progress assessments indicate in every subject area, whether their performance is below, in line with or above the expected performance for that stage of the year and the pupil's ability. The main report is compiled towards the end of the summer term, after the bulk of the work for that year has been completed and the school examinations have been undertaken.
Parents' Evenings for each year group are held at appropriate times
throughout the year. We strongly advise all parents to make every effort to
attend these evenings. They are an invaluable link between home and school
and afford parents the opportunity to express any concerns which they may
have to the teacher concerned. For parents of Year 7 and Year 11 pupils,
there will also be a Consultation Afternoon during the Autumn Term.
