Everything about West Hill School is stated in our School Motto "Aim High" and every single pupil is included in that simple phrase.

We encourage high expectations and, as a result, attain high standards of achievement in academic, sporting and artistic spheres of school life.

Our pupils are encouraged to aim high in everything they do and also to develop their personal responsibility and respect for others and the environment.

We are aiming high to provide the highest quality teaching and learning for your child's individual needs, by providing our staff the best resources available and developing their professional expertise so that they can build on their teaching achievements.

Within our community, the school is promoted as a local centre of excellence for all. By working with local businesses and industry we can prepare our pupils for the world of work. 

All are encouraged to participate and excel in all areas of school life.  Great effort is made to recognise and reward good work and individual achievement and our successful approach was rewarded, once again, this year with another set of excellent national examination results.
