Annually, the Science College offers an adult training course 'Starting out as a School Technician'.
This course is designed for people with a basic interest in science and who would like to work in a school environment.
The course comprises 4 blocks of 2 days plus 3 days of work experience with West Hill's technicians. The course begins in January with recruitment beginning November.
Training is provided by Greater Manchester STEM Centre.

A number of past participants have been successful in gaining employment in a school environment.
